Bringing home kitty!
This time is full of excitement and new things but there are some things you can do to make the transition easier on everyone.
#1 set up home base! Make a safe small secluded spot for your kitten to hang out for the first day to week. This will give them a sense of security in your home and let a relationship form.
#2 GET A TREE!! Yes it sound silly but even if older cats are not a fan of the tree, young kittens are PERFECT for trees. It gives them a place to hide, a place to get away from little hands and paws, a place to watch everyone and a place to sleep.
Siberians can be larger than many other breeds so I suggest a heavy base with a lot of with to the tree. These are a few that work well.

#2 Have the food they are used to on hand as well as some wet food to get them eating regularly.

If your cat is coming home a solo cat then they are in for a drastic change. Their whole lives have been mom, siblings and a LOT of zoomies and play time.
